The Playstation 2 was released by Sony in 2000, and it was a very successful 32 bit console. It had a DVD player which enabled games to larger, and it had more detailed graphics. The console had a 3d accelerator chip in addition to a cpu. May great games were released for the PS-2, like Metal Gear Solid 2, Ace Combat 4 to 6, God of War, Resident Evil 4, and many other titles. The Playstation 2 was replaced by the Playstation 3 in late 2006.
Even if you don’t have a Playstation 2 console, you can run the games if you still have them on the PSCSX 2 emulator. However, you do need a powerful enough computer and graphics card to run it.
